This may sound strange, but I am neither an outdoor enthusiast nor a Matsumoto local. So why am I here? I joined the project based on the belief that ""It is I, of all people, who am to make the place where I live more interesting."" The greatest strength of this event lies in the members of the executive committee, who have their own unique personalities; because ""we are all different and are all wonderful."" It would be great if you could bring awareness to the people behind the creation of the event.

I want to make Shinshu and Matsumoto more exciting! I want to tell everyone about this wonderful place! It was in the midst of this growing feeling that I met my AOS members. Every morning I wake up, the view of the Alps is overwhelming and heartwarming at the same time. The rich nature of Matsumoto and Shinshu, the expression of each of the four seasons, the local culture, food, and people. We invite you to experience and feel it for yourself.

I love camping, hiking, and tools/gear. And as someone who is fascinated by the spirit of craftsmanship, what could be better than an event like this? I have been visiting Matsumoto for the past few years, and both the nature and the city area are truly wonderful. I just want to have a great time. Let's have fun together!

In 2022, I visited Norikura, Shinshu for the first time with the invitation of Mr. Murata, the representative director of ALPS OUTDOOR SUMMIT, and couldn't help but be fascinated by the people, nature, food, and sake. I would like to use the experience of working abroad as an expat to build bridges between the world and local communities, and through the ALPS Outdoor Summit, I want to explore Shinshu even more!

Growing up at the foot of the Northern Alps, I have seen the continuous chain of mountains every day since I was a child. Mountains give us humans strength. I had always wanted to convey the charm of the mountains to the outside world and contribute to the local community. Through AOS and by focusing on outdoor activities, I hope to spread the appeal of Matsumoto, Shinshu, and create more fans of this wonderful place.

Yayoi Kusama, Seiji Ozawa, Matsumoto Castle and culinary delights. Matsumoto has a lot of world-class culture. The stars of this year's event are the Alpine mountains and the craftsmanship in making the tools to enjoy them. For local people, the existence of mountains is taken for granted. Nevertheless, it is a ""mountain"" that was slowly formed over thousands of years and deserves recognition as a world-class mountain. We hope you will enjoy it!

When you find the right outdoor gear for the field you are aiming for and the way you want to enjoy it, the time you spend in nature will become much freer and more comfortable. I wish you many encounters that lead to happy mountain climbing and camping in Matsumoto, at the foot of the Northern Alps.

When I was in Tokyo, I had no background in or interest in the outdoors. But here I am, living in Matsumoto, owning a mountain lodge on Mt. Norikura, and even organizing outdoor events. I used to work in advertising and communications, so I believe conveying the concept of Matsumoto=Outdoor is something that I can help with. While focusing on the craftsmanship of the manufacturers, we will create, nurture, and grow an event with rich content that will connect manufacturers and delight outdoor enthusiasts.

Let's make Chubusangaku National Park and the surrounding areas of Matsumoto and Takayama into world-class tourist destinations! Through the ALPS OUTDOOR SUMMIT, we would like to connect the Northern Alps with the world!
