Tanaka Bun Kinzoku of Osaka has been processing and manufacturing metal and resin products since 1919. tab. is a brand launched in 2016 by such a company with a long history. The brand name "tab" means "knob" or "protruding" in English, and the company creates products based on the concept of "things that are a little protruding that don't get buried under other things."

What is tab.'s craftsmanship?

Manufacturing that can’t be found anywhere else.

Since 1919, Tanaka Bun Kinzoku has been manufacturing junou (a household/farm tool for carrying charcoal and ashes), and now plans, manufactures, and sells metal and resin products in Osaka, Japan. What has been important to them in their more than 100 years of manufacturing is to create things that cannot be found anywhere else.

Without value that is unique and different from others, there is no meaning in making products at Tanaka Bun Kinzoku. In order to uphold this motto, which has been passed down to the present, an enormous amount of time is devoted to product development. Their representative products such as the Pyromaster from the brand conifer cone, newly developed in 2016, and the Can Stove SE from tab. are among the products that have been created through this craftsmanship.

When buying the product, you think, “I wanted this kind of functionality,” and when using it, you feel “It’s more useful than I imagined.” The craftspeople at Tanaka Bun Kinzoku have been committed for more than 100 years to creating products that are inspiring when you buy them and when you use them, and that can then be used with affection for many years to come. We are sure that they will continue to produce many “products that can’t be found anywhere else” utilizing their skills and experience that only a long-established company can offer.

Brand's Signature Gear

Can Stove SE

This outdoor stove can be used in multiple ways: for cooking, bonfires, and as a heating device. Its high combustion efficiency allows it to be used with any fuel, and it can be easily ignited with a variety of burning materials, including wood, charcoal, charcoal briquettes, charcoal bricks, dead branches, and even fallen leaves. In addition, the secondary combustion structure produces very little smoke and burnt residue, making it easy to clean up. The inner parts can be removed, and the product can be used for many years with care, replacing only the damaged parts, for example.
