The brand is vigorously involved in environmental issues, donating 3% of its annual profits to various projects around the world in need of support. The brand name is derived from John Muir, who is known as the "father of environmental conservation" in the U.S. By changing the "U" in "Muir" to an "i," the brand name expresses the intention that "I" will carry out activities to protect nature.

This is a part of the “Giving Project”. When purchasers enter this code on the official MiiR website, they will be able to track what projects the money they paid was used for. They can see what kind of impact the projects they are involved in are having, and in what region. This system of detailed information and visibility into the status of projects creates a connection between the user and the community that is different from the traditional donation made by manufacturers.

MiiR’s classic bottle, first sold in 2011. Featuring double-wall vacuum insulation and Thermo 3D® technology, it has excellent heat and cold retention properties, as well as the ability to prevent heat and cold from escaping. The wide mouth makes it easy to clean and add ice. 16 oz, 20 oz, and 32 oz sizes are available with a variety of colors to choose from.
