NANGA is an outdoor brand that manufactures made-in-Japan down products in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture. They use only the highest quality down, which is the key component of their products, and wash and produce it in Japan. The company continues to manufacture its products at its own factory in Maibara and thoroughly controls the quality of its products. The high quality of their products has been recognized both domestically and internationally, including winning the best show at the OUTDOOR RETAILER SUMMER 2023, the world's largest outdoor show.

NANGA’s products are made at its own factory located near Lake Biwa in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture.
The company was founded in 1941. Originally, it started as a futon (traditional Japanese style of bedding) processing company in this town where cotton processing was prosperous. From there, it has been manufacturing down-related products for more than 70 years, and world-renowned outdoor manufacturer NANGA was born in this Lake Biwa area.

AURORA DOWN JACKET
This down jacket uses NANGA’s original waterproof and breathable fabric. It is a hooded down jacket with DX down filling and Aurora Tex® outer material, and has been popular as a representative product of the brand since its birth in 2002. It is newly remodeled in 2023.
