Helinox
Helinox is a Korean brand that produces outdoor gear such as chairs, which was spun off in 2009 from DAC, a manufacturer of aluminum tent poles. DAC's poles hold a global market share, and Helinox's products, which are made using the characteristics of these poles, are highly regarded for their strength and lightness. Currently, the company has three brands: HOME DECO & BEACH, TACTICAL SUPPLIES, and TERG.

Helinox products begin with the study of a single pole.
Jake Lah, the founder of DAC which produces aluminum tent poles, took on the challenge of creating a flexible and strong tent pole in 1988, a big challenge for an aluminum product.
His uncompromising dedication to quality has paid off, and today DAC is known as a leading brand of tent poles.
In the midst of all this, Helinox’s signature product, Chair One, was launched in 2012. Lightweight, sturdy, and portable, this product conceals a tremendous amount of time and effort put into a single pole.

At the DAC factory, a family-owned business that produces Helinox frames, their philosophy of “loving and caring for nature” is evident in the decorations and workmanship throughout the factory.
