Trangia

Trangia is a Swedish brand of aluminum cookware that will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025. The company originally started out making aluminum cookware for home use and later began full-scale production of camping sets as the demand for outdoor equipment increased rapidly. In addition to cooking utensils such as alcohol burners and storm cookers, "Mestin," which can also be used as a rice cooker, is becoming increasingly popular in Japan.

What is Trangia's craftsmanship?

Sophisticated design and reliable functionality that carry on the traditions.

The design of Trangia’s signature product, the Storm Cooker, has not changed significantly since it was first sold in 1951.

The simple design allows both beginners and experts to set up and disassemble intuitively. The products are made to be easily accepted by everyone by eliminating unnecessary functions and structures and have solid functionality. They will be passed on to the next generation for the sophisticated design that will never decay.

Trangia products are still made in Trongsviken, a small town with a population of about 500 people. The souls of the craftspeople and their pride in preserving tradition are reflected in their products through a production process that still involves some manual labor.
