The company's representative, Jared Campiom, who has experience in van life in Europe and Australia, as well as staff members with overseas van life experience, furniture makers, and architects, come together to build each camper van by hand.

Representative Jared has been traveling around Europe and Australia by van since he was a child. When he landed in Japan for a connecting flight, he noticed the lack of awareness of the road trip van lifestyle and the small variety of campervans available. This realization sparked his desire to create campervans for an authentic van lifestyle in Japan, which led him to launch Dream Drive.
At Dream Drive, craftspeople from various backgrounds, including those with experience in van life overseas, gather to handcraft and manufacture each camper van. The camper vans they produce are characterized by a space where one can feel nature through the use of solid wood. The workers assess the condition of the materials and build the interiors avoiding unnecessary processing and decoration, resulting in camper vans that can be enjoyed for a long time while appreciating the changes of the wood over time.

A comfortable camping van that takes advantage of the spacious interior of the Hiace van. The furniture is made with glues that do not contain VOCs or formaldehyde, and plywood from Takizawa Veneer that is safe for children and pets. The company is also committed to natural and safe van-making, using paints and oils that meet European toy safety standards for natural properties.
